How about Tucker Carlson as moderator? How about Mark Levin, or Judge Jeanine?

Answer: A leftist Beltway hack who has voted Democrat in every election since college (where he was a solid B student). I don’t need to read up on him.

This guy sounds like a pushover. Trump will eat his lunch.
I’m good with that.

Baffles me why Trump agreed to this. I assuming because Biden wouldn’t accept otherwise.

Trump isn’t afraid to stand in the fire.
He gets more grudging respect as a leader that way, from those who may not agree with him on everything.

I’ve watched Steve Scully for years on C-SPAN. Never gotten any kind of partisan vibe from him.

I’d love to believe this, but I was also sold that Biden would come out as stuttering fool who could barely string sentences together. That wasn’t the case.

How about two chess clocks? Once an opponent hits it the mic for the other fellow goes off and stays that way until he hits the clock again.

No, it certainly wasn’t was it? I and a lot of other FReepers were fooled into thinking that.
Thank God Trump was not fooled that way. For my part, I did realize at the last minute that Trump would not be debating a senile old fool. But essentially Chris Wallace.
And that’s exactly how things went down.

I never bought into Biden being a stuttering fool, not that way.
On the other hand, he was incapable of making his case as to why he should replace Trump in the White House.

I worked for Joe Biden, Senator from Delaware at the time, as an intern, so I had my first chance to really see politics up close in Washington, D.C." After that, Scully worked for Senator Kennedy in his 1980 campaign
How can this guy not be biased? Who on the Republican side agreed to let this joker work as moderator?
