GPS takes folks over SkyLine Drive to our house. Beautiful trip if you like hairpin curves and roadbeds that have sides with 40’ drops. Great views. We can see the power towers on the Ohio at Madison -an hour drive away - at one of the lookouts.

Sounds beautiful. I’ll need to take a trip there sometime. But in the meantime I will check on Zillow for houses :-)
Many decades ago my young family got caught in a thunderstorm storm while driving along the Sky Line Drive. We pulled over into a scenic overlook to wait out the storm. Watching lightening streak from far above you to far below you was something that I won’t forget. Frightening and amazing.
