It has been so weird and hard to keep up this year. If I have this right, the Belmont Stakes was run at its usual time. The Derby ran in September and now the Preakness Ran. I do not understand the objection to “Maryland, My Maryland”. I haven’t seen any racist lyrics in it.

Just spoke to the POTUS for past 15min—happy to share that he’s doing great. It was the same Donald Trump I’ve always known, call was no different than all others. He is a warrior and laser focused. Keep those prayers coming his way, he’s going to beat this, no question about it!
I didn’t realize the Preakness was also delayed. So they are changing the song played? It’s sad to see these old traditions changed. Especially for bad reasons. With the Derby, there was one black owner. And BLM wanted him to stay out of the race. Isn’t that exactly the opposite of what they should want? It wasn’t any white people saying he should stay out. This is so upside down.
