Chris Wallace, the host of “Fox News Sunday” and moderator of the first presidential debate between President Trump and Joe Biden, said that he hopes to remain as “invisible as possible” during their faceoff on Tuesday in Cleveland, Ohio.
“I’m trying to get them to engage…to focus on the key issues…to give people at home a sense of why they want to vote for one versus the other,” he said. “If I’ve done my job right, at the end of the night, people will say, ‘That was a great debate, who was the moderator?’”

Hey sounded like a sniveling little creep! Every time Trump made a strong point, he would interject that Trump had gone over his time:

Wallace should not moderate another debate. He should be all washed up after this. He clearly sided with Biden and his left wing policies.

You failed Wallace! Your question about will Trump disavow violence from racists and white supremacists if Biden disavows Black Lives Matter and Antifa vilence was stretching the truth about those resorting to violence. We have seen BLM and Antifa violence. What comparable violence have we seen from unnamed White supremacists and racists? CNN is saying Trump didn’t disavow anyone on the race question yet I clearly heard him say “okay, Proud Boys stand down”. Check the tape!

Biden said he had law enforcement support. Trump told him to name one. Biden said he didn’t have time. Trump said we have time to name just one. Wallace cut off the conversation and quickly changed topics. Told me everything I needed to know right there. Wallace felt a duty to protect Biden from mean ole Trump and make sure they stuck to the script he knew Biden had prepared for. It was obvious.
Chris wallace and biden were disgraceful- VERY rude to the president of the United states=- Wallace was treating the President like a child- Arguing with him- cutting him off- just being a total jerk-
If that was his objective, he failed miserably.
“What else could he have done?”
He could have refrained from asking Trump “when will you stop beating your wife” questions. In other words, don’t predicate your questions with questionable assertions.
And when he asked Biden what he would do to address a problem, he could have “redirected” him when he used to time instead to fire off a string of easily disprovable lies about Trump. The way Chris would “redirect” Trump when he wouldn’t answer the way he liked.
Biden repeated that outrageous “both sides” slander and the military “losers” slander, and Trump wasn’t permitted to confront them. That’s not a mark of an impartially moderated debate. Biden was as despicable as he was with Wallace’s assistance.
He's likely the only one Biden would agree to be the moderator from Fox News in a debate.
If that was Chris' aim, he was the biggest loser tonight.

And Wallace wanted Trump to disavow White Supremacist’s who aren’t even rioting at present, while completely ignoring ANTIFA and BLM! Trump called that little lying POS out on this and Wallace changed the subject!

Wallace was pretty clearly in the Biden camp and we knew that going in. I did not have a problem so much with him interrupting Trump and trying to stay on script as I did with the way that he went after Trump and seemingly interjected when Biden was floundering.
The next two debates if they happen will probably be even worse moderators.
