To me it seems very likely, and frankly, there is more evidence to support that assertion than not.
Do you remember those Star Wars video game chat screen captures that Q posted a while back? They showed derps conspiring against Flynn and Trump. They talk about creating false memos as predicate building.
Pay particular attention to this part. This is the part where they discuss a falsified memo and the plan to distribute it to their media minions.

In that conversation, somebody was either a member of the media or a handler of and feeder to the media.
The media has a long history of being 'in on plans' in conjunction with their derp allies. Think Haberman. Think Mockingbird..
Q has told us that the derp CIA has infiltrated and controlled the media. Think Anderson Cooper.
So, yea. I think the media is very likely 'in on', or at least aware of many of the derp plans, and their contribution is integral to team derp.
