Well, remember that DJT did not do that great in the first debate of the primaries-he seemed to spend the time sizing up the opponents. Then he proceeded to knock them off in the following debates.
A big plus is that he got Biden Bin Hiden to disavow key pieces of the “manifesto” such as the green new deal. Maybe some Bernie Bros will just stay home after this.
He did miss some opportunities to turn some stuff back on Biden. Such as the question of White Supremacy. He could have said that he condemns any untoward violence, and then asked if Biden will condemn the riots and violence committed by the violent parts of BLM and Antifa.
Or just pointed out that it’s not White supremacists that are rioting and burning all over the Dem-lead cities-and he condemns all such violence.
Yeah, there are so many evil people who do Projection onto innocent people. Every week I can say “Projection!” to a few things in the news.

The CSpan poll is rather lopsided. Perhaps because more people watching are Trump supporters? Biden has no enthusiastic base, and that is surprising since by appearance the left rabidly hates Trump. Or, is the hatred of Trump magnified by paid actors and the media?
