Verizon has been quietly scrambling to unload HuffPost as it grapples with continued losses at the left-leaning news and culture website, The Post has learned.
The telecom giant which acquired the site formerly known as the Huffington Post as part of its $4.4 billion purchase of AOL in 2015 has approached multiple digital-media companies during the past few months in a bid to get the property off its books as losses accelerate due to the coronavirus, according to sources close to the situation.

I bid -$50. That is you give me $50 to take it off your hands, Verizon. I'd make it into the Weekly World News...😀

looks like huffpo is such a basket case for so many reasons that i wouldn’t be surprised at all if it ends up just being completely shut down with the entire staff laid off, possibly with little or no severance pay ...

No, not at all. The service is good. Pure Talk uses the same towers as AT&T. I did have a tiny bit of trouble getting my texting set up, but that was probably due to me being a dummy.
I'm on the $20/month plan ($21.98 with taxes) and am very pleased.

Not long ago, I found out that a kid who lived up the street from me was now working for the Huffington Puffington Post.
He was an a-hole when I knew him. He must not have changed much.

Romney will be happy to buy it all thru Bain Capital for pennies on $10.

Bwahahahahaha! Get woke; go broke. I remember when they posted pix of their all-female staff in the wake of #MeToo. Now look.
