Two Things that Trump Can Do to Simplify His Federal Tax Bills for the Ignorant Masses.

Posted on 09/28/2020 5:12:26 AM PDT by Saveourcountry

1. Add up all the payroll taxes, and other federal taxes that he paid each year for the last 20 years. That number will be HUGE. Simply say, "That is fake news" IF they really have my tax returns they would see that every year in the last 20 years we have paid the federal government no less than x number of dollars.

2. Also add, "The press only writes fake headlines because they know that most people will not read the entire story. Notice what the headline did not say. The headline did not say that Donald Trump did anything illegal."

He had armies of accountants.

His finances are structured so as to minimize personal tax exposure.

He is not some guy using quicken and turbo tax.

If he had paid huge tax bills AND done something illegal I would have been more surprised than the fact he paid little or no taxes.

This is just another fake chip dropped at the right moment for the democrats. They were concerned about the new revelations about hunter biden, so hence, time to drop a big chip. Problem is, no one gives a damn anymore. The NYT has lost its relevancy because they will not persuade one person any longer. These stories will only make their crazed base feel better and embolden the Trump supporters.

Even if the did pay little to no income tax - that does not lessen the tax burden he paid each year in payroll taxes, etc. The feds are getting millions of dollars each year from Donald Trump. He should point that out.

I appreciate your suggestion.

But, No! The moment he does what you recommend the moon bats will say prove it to us by releasing your returns.

No one gives two thoughts about this topic so he should give them Nothing.

I remember dividing my “highest” income over a period of 3 years. It made a huge difference. I also remember when my credit card interest was deductible.

Big guys can make deductions the rest of us can't.
It is legal.
Why should he not take the opportunity to pay as little as possible under existing law.
I would be disappointed at him otherwise.
How many congress critters have paid more taxes than they absolutely had to?

The vast majority of people that file their own taxes think everyone gets a W-2 and files the short form or perhaps itemizes if they own a house and has kids....

They have no concept of hiring accountants and tax lawyers to structure everything to lower their tax bills, plus the idea of loss carry forward is totally foreign and would be considered a tax cheat by a lot of people..

Plus ask yourself, the NY Times publishes their story yesterday and within hours the Biden has a campaign ad being aired....coincidence ??

There is nothing patriotic about over paying your taxes. There is no such thing as paying your “ fair share “ of taxes. There is what you owe and not a penny more. If you owe $750.00 that is what you pay.

Look-if the story is true-and the guy is worth as much as he says he is and makes as much as he says he does-and he paid no taxes for years and only $750 for two years-

That should piss everyone off. If he did it legally-Zheng did it legally and then good on him but it means the system sucks because I know a lot of us worked really hard and paid a lot more than that. I know a cop friend who paid thousands one year alone because of the extra jobs.

So-if we have the super rich not paying a dime because they “structure “ things in ways that you and I just can’t do and pay nothing-and a copy has a tax bill around $5k because of OT and extra jobs and he doesn’t have the resources to do fancy accounting-that’s just not right.

And if you try to sell that as right to the American public you will lose BIG TIME. If you think you won’t you are tone deaf and pretty heartless. No way a man like Trump should pay nothing and live like that and a cop should put his life on the line and pay thousands. That’s not right. Period.

“ There is no such thing as paying your “ fair share “ of taxes.“

I always laugh when I hear that “fair share” BS. I respond “Sure thing...if you let me define the meaning of FAIR”.

I couldn’t care less about Trump’s taxes. I suspect very few people who are not left-wing zealots really give a crap. He’s a billionaire, and billionaires have armies of accountants to come up with creative ways to reduce or eliminate their tax bills. Good for them. All I care about with Trump or any other president is what he can do for me as my employee in the White House. He’s done enough for me to want to keep him on.

Yes, that makes sense. He should just stick with Fake news and I paid a lot. You’ll see when they get released. People other than the moon bats do not care about this.

Trump pays MILLIONS each year just in payroll taxes alone. The feds have MILLIONS more each year because Trump is a business man. No - a cop does not pay more than he does. No way. Your post proves HOW IGNORANT the average person is about these matters. Did you know that your boss pays the federal government every time he sends you a paycheck? You pay the feds (taken out of your paycheck so you don’t notice) and your boss ALSO pays them.

I know I don’t care what Mr. Trumps tax returns look like. Those folks have accountants that can figure out all the angles & so maybe their tax returns look like they didn’t pay a lot according to their supposed income. I think I may have actually paid less over the years on a pretty low income because of the fact that while many incomes were going up & tax brackets were adjusted accordingly, my income generally stayed low & actually decreased the last several years I was working. The result was that I basically got my taxes back that I had paid in for the last couple years I worked. Considering what prices were doing during that time, it was no more than fair. I am now living alone, paying no taxes except sales tax, but saving more than I could when I last worked. I don’t do much, so there is not much to spend it on.

If ALL those paxpayers are so sure that Trmo is not paying enough taxes-—

They need to understand how many ILLEGALS are filing a ‘tax return’—Haven’t paid a penny in Federal taxes due to claiming 9 dependents—and then get PAID EIC money-—when they haven’t paid in a dime of income taxes.

"People other than the moonbats do not care about this."

Exactly. Don't allow his message to be sabotaged by the NYC in-kind contribution with Biden.

How was it that the NYT published a piece about Trump's taxes and Biden has a bumper sticker on his website within minutes without them coordinating the story?
