Saw this description of a new political system posted on Twitter by @PlumRemson:
“Faucism: A system of public health crony capitalism marked by centralization of authority under a dictatorial bureaucracy subject to stringent pharma industry controls, media suppression of opposition & typically a policy of enforcing definitions of "problem" and "solution".”
There are definitely too many Faucists in the US right now.

CNN says that experts are warning of a coming surge in Covid cases. This is pure trash. Only way they will get what they want is to make the Coronavirus tests more sensitive and to increase mandatory testing. Deaths have been drifting down since the end of July.

They check wastewater from college dorms and if they detect CV they then mandate tests for everyone. College kids are like prisoners these days. It is disgusting. Does anyone know what power Governors have over state universities? Something needs to change.

Not really, about an average year for the regular flu...’17-’18 flu season had 61K fatalities & ‘14-’15 had 51K. Might have be exacerbated this year by people afraid to go in for a flu shot.

If they just left all kids the hell alone then many would get the virus, never know it, and herd immunity would be achieved much sooner and with many less older lives lost.
