I hear you on that. The rank and file is fed up with the leadership. Heck the majority of the leadership was indicted in 2019 and 2020.
But there are still 2 coming generatons that will vote Dem because the UAW says so.
Mouths need to be fed is always the excuse.
The workers only see job security.
The membership grumbles about the Union leaders but /always/ vote D when the union says so.
Your example of the UAW leadership getting indicted is instructive.
Scenario:
(1967) Leaders of Communist governing institution (union) utilize capitalism to enhance their personal fortune.
Leaders are removed.
New leaders say, “It’s all solved. Vote Commucrat.”
