I want to buy a home defense shotgun and I would appreciate FR input. I’ve always been more of a rifle and pistol person. What say y’all to a senior citizen buying a shotgun for the first time. Is Mossberg Shockmaster or Roadblocker a good choice.

Dang, how many thousands of dollars are those things?
A “base” unit is probably about 1K, and that one pictured has probably another 1k in mods on it. So probably about 2k for one of the most vicious firearms commercially available without a license.
Could be a life-saver if you’re FTF with a herd of savages.

No pump action required. Could be huge if you are somehow injured, or just old and weak.
