Oh, you can’t? Why would she say this? Why would Pelosi be out there four days before the debate urging Plugs not to do it? Particularly on the basis that he’s entirely capable, it’s that Trump is impossible to defeat because Trump is a lying skunk orange man.
Okay, folks, look. I don’t mind — see, here’s the thing. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong. It doesn’t happen much. So it doesn’t cause me to lose any self-esteem when it happens. In fact, there’s a part of me that thinks it’s good for me psychologically to be wrong now and then so that I don’t think of myself as invincible. And if I’m wrong about this, then I’ll be wrong about it.
But I will double down on it. I will tell you I don’t think — and I’m not even gonna issue any caveats. I don’t think — I could say I don’t think there’s gonna be a debate Tuesday. I can say I don’t think there’s gonna be a debate Tuesday night. I don’t think there’s going to be a debate, period, between Trump and Biden.
Let me ask you this. Suppose something happens and Biden just can’t do it, oh, but wants to be there so bad and they offer Kamala Harris as a substitute. And thereby put it on Trump to say “yes” or “no.” Why are you shaking your head “no” to that? You don’t think these people are capable of this? You know, it’s no wonder, despite 30 years of telling people who the left in this country is, who the Democrats are, my own staff still doesn’t understand who they are and what they’re capable of. Man, it’s frustrating sometimes.

I’m with you and Rush. I think that a SUDDEN DIAGNOSIS OF COVID-19, IS WHAT THEY WILL USE. I just don’t see Biden going up on stage for 90 Plus minutes and debating with President Trump.
Wrong again, he stops himself because he thinks better of it.
There IS no super-secret info, but you do you.
The fiction is that Joe was exposed to COVID (Jill or some staffer) and has to isolate.
The twist: Joe offers to debate via Zoom from his basement.
This way he gets to do "the honorable thing" by going through with the debate and earns sympathy points. At the same time, he can use teleprompter/earpiece without it being obvious.
Also, his handlers control the feed - they can have "technical difficulties" at any time if Joe hits a rough patch.
Still dangerous putting Joe on live camera, but maybe more manageable?

If Biden shows up, Trump’s team should set up a broadband transmitter to jam any radio frequencies used for Biden’s earpiece receivers. Wait until the first question goes to Biden, then flip the switch and watch old Joe tap his ear and say, “hey, I’m not getting anything on this” right on live TV.
In the unlikely event that Biden shows up Tuesday, he will skip the other debates.
Rush’s prediction puts Biden in a hard place.
If Biden skips the debate, Rush is shining a light on the real reason.
Biden could say he needs to do in on zoom because of the virus...
and then what does Trump say...yes or no
Or, when Biden stumbles for a word, Trump kindly lends him a verbal cue. I think that would give Biden a fit.

I like Rush but he doesn’t have a good track record on predictions, otherwise we would have had a President McCain, President Romney etc etc
Guaranteed Biden will show, he’s ben preppeing for two weeks he will use memorized pat answers, acting angry for the people, he will do decent and media will say he did amazing-its why Trump wisely said he will do ok, we have to stop setting the bar so low for Biden

There is a scene in Kominsky Method where they are eating out at Musso and Franks... (Great Place by the way)... the waiters and barkeeps are very old, but wonderful! One of the older waiters starts toward the door, while tending to go to the kitchen... Biden could do that. OUR FAVORITE WAITER AT MUSSO AND FRANKS IS MANNY! He is adorable! I told him I do not drink hard liquor because it bothers my stomach. He INSISTED on filling my glass over and over with delicious Cosmo. I never got upset stomach. We just love that guy. BTW I wasn’t driving!
Biden might be like Yancey Pelosi and say Good Morning, Sunday Morning....
