Wednesdays news out of Louisville regarding the Breonna Taylor case has led to some strong reactions from the sports community. Now, a high-profile social and political activist is calling on Kentucky-connected professional athletes to participate in a Bluegrass State boycott.
Thursday, Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. called on professional athletes to discourage top basketball and football recruits from going to Kentucky schools, including UK, via his Twitter account.

Good, close Round Ball down.
Jesse Jackson? I’d almost forgotten about that guy.
Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson should both be in jail
These vultures the charlatans did try to show up and start a race war any opportunity they have are beyond shameless beyond pathetic and fortunately beyond credibility
The facts of this case are clear
we have a justice system in the United States of America
Breonna Taylor was involved with fentayl dealers who had multiple felony counts ; multiple warrants out for their arrest
her boyfriend shot the police !
and if you shoot the police all bets are off OK ?
and then her boyfriend After shooting out and hitting the police Hid ! and let the police shoot her!
The boyfriend should have multiple counts of felony counts filed against him did he have any charges filed against him? No
So another words in this case we have a completely perverted justice system where her family gets $12 million the perpetrator who had a felony warrants out fires at and shoots police first and receive no charges and yet the charlatans still want to try to make this a police bias against Black people case
Its funny when you watch as these race hustlers try to lock onto cases theyve tried over many many many years and they always pick complete losers we have a serious felony and resisting arrest or with firearms are shooting at police
They never ever ever seem to find an innocent black man who was shot by police
I can find you 10 to 50,000 innocent black kids who were shot by other black thugs - do we care about them?
I can also site case after case after case of innocent white people murdered raped tortured or whatever by black thugs does anybody care about them?
The non-stupid Americans are not gonna buy this crap
Has Jesse Jackson ever seen UK football? We won’t miss much.
Is he still alive? Why?
I guess the Race Hustler hopes to cash in on some more ill-gotten money, bum that he is. Fine, if the players are willing to follow his racist Pied Piper spiel, let them lose their million-dollar salaries as fans show what they think of being forced to swallow players’ political views on THEIR dime.
We boycotted him.
Those two are so far from God it's sad.
At one time Jesse was pro-life....then he went to the dark side.
Jackson run out of women to impregnate?
Jesse Jackson proved years ago big money can be made with the racism gig it’s why he never wants it to end as so many others do.
MSM winks and nods
But, but... what will they do for a college degree edjication?
Jesse trying to make himself relevant.
IS Jackson also calling for all the details of the DEAD BODY found in Taylor’s rental car to be released to the public?
I have driven over 1 million miles.
I have owned a number of vehicles.
I have NEVER had a DEAD BODY in any of my vehicles.
Hoe about “The Rest Of The Story” on THAT DEAD BODY, Jesse?
That would be like an 18 year old white guy today taking college selection advice from Bob Dole.
UK Basketball has been very very good to Blacks.
Last I remember U of KY was a FACTORY for the NBA. If you are recruited by them and you want to earn a living playing basketball in the NBA after college, you’d be a fool to turn them down.
Jesse came around to a community near me several years ago and was run out of town, needing a police escort. Jesse has lost his juice.
