FBI Agent Who Discovered Hillary’s Emails On Weiner Laptop Claims He Was Told To Erase Computer
FBI agent John Robertson, the man who found Hillary Clinton’s emails on the laptop of Anthony Weiner, claims he was advised by bosses to erase his own computer.
Former FBI Director James Comey, you may recall, announced days before the 2016 presidential election that he had “learned of the existence” of the emails on Weiner’s laptop .
Weiner is the disgraced husband of Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
Robertson alleges that the manner in which his higher-ups in the FBI handled the case was “not ethically or morally right.”
His startling claims are made in a book titled, “October Surprise: How the FBI Tried to Save Itself and Crashed an Election,” an excerpt of which has been published by the Washington Post.

The 6/2018 OIG report says it was the Weiner case agent who found over 300k emails, on 09/26/2018.
He bumped it up the chain of command. It must have been during the bump up that the “oh spit” moment happened.
No mention of an “oh spit” moment in the OIG. (why would there be in an official report)
The actual count was 347k emails of which 141k were potentially related to the MidYear investigation.
There was a seperate team doing the Mid-Year investigation and they waited until 10/24/2018 to do any investigation.
Mostly the reason for the inaction,according to the OIG report, was, it was that 141k that caused the dilemma of needing a new warrant which mostly froze the Mid Year team from looking at it.
The report did note that key team members were moved over to the russia investigatio as that was a higher priority.
