What's so bad about some one-hit wonder 80s band?

I saw them in concert! Must have been 83 or 84? It was a pretty boring concert if I recall.

I know I am preaching to the choir but the 80s were awesome in so many ways. Live from Philadelphia...

Now wait a minute there.. .they had a few hits. All You Zombies, And We Danced, Day By Day, Where Do The Children Go... the two band leaders wrote Cindy Lauper's Time After Time, and they had a massive hit EP in Philadelphia called Amore.

Before they broke nationally, I saw the Hooters at my old high school auditorium outside of Philly. They had enough amplification for a 5,000 seat venue. My ears were ringing for three days thereafter....it was the loudest concert I ever heard, louder than Van Halen, louder than Anthrax.
