EAST HANOVER, N.J. (NEXSTAR) The store shelves are beginning to be filled with pumpkin spice but one holiday flavor is hitting the shelves early gingerbread!
Nabisco decided to release a new, limited-edition flavor of their famed Oreo cookies.
Youll be able to find new gingerbread-flavored Oreos next to other popular flavors like Red Velvet, Lemon Creme and Fudge Creme.
The new Gingerbread Oreos come in five different designs and are described as an original Oreo with two gingerbread wafers filled with the traditional Oreo creme and crunchy sugar crystals.
But youll need to grab them while you can. The new version is only available for a limited time.
If they’re still made in Mexico, no thanks.
Sounds good
I have some Carrot Cake and Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie , LOL
Sorry but you cant improve on the original Oreo.
I use to be called an Oreo as a child. I like Oreos.
“Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie”
Now you done it.
This does take my mind off COVID.
Im sorry Devane617, this was to have been posted by Nick.
:-)
Whatever happened to churro flavored? I thought after the mystery contest was over they were supposed to make it a regular flavor but I have yet to see it.
No Pumpkin flavor?
an oreo is an oreo....why are we making an oreo something else??
This is like introducing fruit flavored chocolate....why?
If I want a Gingerbread cookie, I buy a Gingerbread Cookie. There is no such thing as a Gingerbread Oreo.
I glanced at the headline and initially thought it read Ginsberg-flavored Oreos. I must be reading to many stories about RGB. I am going to guess that that flavor would taste like a mix of freezer-burnt ham and sour milk with a dash of ammonia.
I stopped buying Oreos when they came out with transgender Oreos.
I cant believe I live in an era when i can seriously write this. But that is what they did. A cookie.
One of my favorite desserts - have not made it in a long time - is gingerbread (cake-like texture) with lemon pudding. YUM.
I would like to just be able to get a can of pumpkin. None on the shelves at the stores around here.
“Sorry but you cant improve on the original Oreo.”
Yes you can. Two double stuffed Oreos combined into a single Oreo. That and a cup of coffee will keep you awake for days.
Smart marketing. Using the well known Oreo name and attaching it to a new limited-time cookie.
Smart marketing, but it sounds ghastly.
Probably tastes OK though...
