A New York City police officer has been arrested on charges he was secretly working as an agent of the Chinese government. Baimadajie Angwang, a community affairs liaison at the 111th Precinct in Queens and a member of the US Marine Corps Reserve, had for years been reporting back to handlers in the Peoples Republic of China (PRC), according to a criminal complaint filed at a New York federal court. Mr Angwang, 33, an ethnic Tibetan native of China and a naturalised American citizen, had allegedly been reporting back on the activities of fellow Tibetans in the US since 2014.

DeBlasio hired a spy, just great.
I wonder what he reported? NYC is a....
HILLARY: “Diversity is our strength.”
“Came to US as Tibetan seeking asylum.”
So he’s a double traitor. Traitor to Tibet and traitor to the U.S.
Loyal to ChiComs.
Not quite so fast. First: I see pictures of him in a USMC uniform (E5). Was he actively engaged in espionage while on active duty? Second: Is he still in the reserves? If the answer to both questions is yes, recall his a$$ and let him do 20 years or so in Leavenworth before we pack him up and return him. While I wasn’t a marine, I’d gladly be recalled to sit on that courts martial and I’m sure a couple retired Master Gunnery Sergeants I know probably would, too.
A Tibetan cop in NYC spying for the Chinese?!
Sounds like a 1940s comic book story
He served if Afg and Iraq, is in the reserve and still had security clearance.
He has family remaining in China and likely succumbed to Chinese extortion. That is the condition of all Chinese immigrants, especially university students and scientists and employees of companies. It is a Chinese Protection racket. All Chinese outside of China are subject to threats made against their closest relatives in China if they do not send all the information they encounter back to China or cooperate in intelligence gathering and actions against Chinese dissidents in America.
Then he needs to do some time in Leavenworth. Better yet would be a needle in his arm, but they probably couldn’t make that stick.
