personally, i don’t think Kimmel has anything to do with it ... the ratings are cratering because awards shows are irrelevant, the “awards” are almost exclusively based on PC, whereas actual merit has zero influence, and finally folks don’t find it entertaining to have BLM/SWJ/antifa propaganda shoved down their throats ...
They have a built in excuse of covid. They’ll never admit it’s them.
This probably would have happened no matter the host. People are reviewing their priorities and celebrating self-righteous celebrities—entertainment, music or athletic—isn’t high on the list. I believe the recent Video Music Awards program in NYC was also down in ratings compared to last year.
Will NEVER EVER watch the Emmy’s, the Grammy’s, the Oscars... NEVER EVER EVER.... EVER.
They think they’re on the right side of history. In reality, they’re enabling anarchists and race hustlers. Historians will either ignore their antics or expose them for the hypocrites that they are.
I haven’t watched American TV for many years, but the little clips they had on YouTube indicated the Emmy’s were completely about promoting homosexuality. All sorts of flaming gay people prancing around including one in a dress. For something called “Schitt’s Creek”? This is American TV???? No wonder entertainment is in the dumper.

I think it aired opposite Sunday Night Football with the Seattle Seahawks hosting the New England Patriots—a rematch of the Super Bowl from 2015.
It was a nail biter with the Seahawks winning on a final play goal line stand and Russell Wilson throwing 5 TD passes. Much better than any Hollywood phony award crap.
I remember when Kimmel was doing his lame TV commercials during NFL games years ago.
Why anybody watches the late night “shows” or the Emmys is a mystery to me.
I have absolutely no interest in what actors have to say about anything including movies/TV.
Actors will be a lot more palatable as people if the ever figure out that they are paid to pretend to be someone else. And are not (generally) nearly as smart as the characters they play.
And despite being fawned over by multitudes of regular folk they are no better than those regular folk and their opinions are no better and no more worthy of print than those regular folk.

I suppose that they needed a useful-idiot scapegoat and Kimmel fit the bill but they do realize it is actually because people are turned off by the bunch of losers in unholywood.
Jimmy Kimmel was good on The Man Show because his character was an a$$hole. Now we’ve learned that he wasn’t acting - he IS an a$$hole.
This is not tolerated in normal society.
When I was honored as a high achiever at an annual meeting of branch offices around the country, I thanked all my co-workers and clients who helped make my achievement possible, made a couple of light-hearted jokes about some of the things that happened to me the previous year and walked off the stage.
I did not insult my company by using my time to say what was on my mind politically.
Why do these Hollywood people think they are so important and so special that they can use their time in that way? And even if they actually were so special and important, it still displays a total lack of class.
