Sheridan told Breitbart News, “I will enforce people’s constitutional rights to peaceably protest. However, as soon as someone throws a rock or a bottle that is not longer a peaceful protest. I will declare it an unlawful assembly and immediately disperse the crowd before it becomes a riot.”
He said, “I will have jail buses, that we transport inmates in, lined up in row to arrest the people that do not disperse [if the protest becomes riotous].”
“I’m not fooling around with this. These rioters, they don’t just attack Republican businesses. They don’t just attack and destroy and burn and loot businesses in wealthy communities. They attack, especially small business owners that probably have their life savings, their life work in these places, [the rioters] don’t discriminate,” Sheridan added.
“They tear them all down, and it’s my job as the sheriff to protect everybody. Regardless of the location in Maricopa County, regardless of who owns the businesses.”
He said it is the job of the sheriff to “protect property and life.”
Sheridan was with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for 38 years, 33 of which he spent in leadership, culminating in him holding the highest-ranking uniformed position of Chief Deputy.

He has been close to Arpaio for a long time, and he still has a full set of marbles, as far as I know.
Our Sheriff in Mohave County takes the same approach, including deputizing citizens to put down Looters and Rioters.
Nice to see a story that does not spell buses busses.

He’s up against Penzone, the democrat incumbent. I’ve not heard of any polling. As a matter of fact, I have heard nothing.
I’ll vote for the Republican every time.
And Penzone allowed rioting in May that cost the Phoenix/Scottsdale area beaucoup bucks. Hope Sheridan wins. (But with ballotharvesting, which I believe is STILL ILLEGAL in Arizona [even though it happened in 2018]), The Left has a cheating chance)
Kelli Ward was on a NewsMax show last week saying we don’t have to worry about mail-in ballots because we’ve been doing it for a long time and it’s ok to vote this way.

The flip side of the coin is that if he reneges on his platform the rioting rabble will be in control of the street. Not a good outcome for law-abiding citizens.

I used to live in AZ (multiple places, SE Valley), Made a point of contacting Elections office to cancel my AZ voter reg when I left, in hopes to not have any chance of ballots cast in my name. Az increasingly at tipping point.
Az valley is a nice place but I couldn’t take the unhealthy air quality so many days of the year, wasnt so when I moved there. Valley got way too big for itself, way too stupid with leaf blowers (many likely illegal) blowing crap in the air for thousands of home owners/businesses/roadway planting places daily (people complain about allergies yet pay for this just for appearance sake?) way too close living (block walls/overhear neighbors/no real privacy, neighbors windows oversee way too much/ and no more scorpian stings!
And yes, too many libs(feelings/fair/enabling) types moved in, changing for the worse. I moved to a dem run state to help elders, at least I am near relatives and I know I can live more freely as I want and breathe cleaner air in a rural area.
Will fight on this front here to help retake this state for the USofA :) signed up to work polls and getting involved elsewise too.
