This is probably a more refined therapy than HCQ. What I think makes this a little better is that the Ivermectin is an actual antibiotic (and therefore it wouldn’t be a stretch to see it as an antiviral) whereas HCQ is not.

I think this has real potential as a treatment, and seeing that one of the resident bullies is already on this thread, I will simply point out that treatment is but one leg of disease management. Her immunity and prophylaxis being the others. While I am encouraged as to the potential efficacy of this treatment, I am also encouraged as to the standard vaccine tech that is being studied as well as what appears to be regional herd immunity developing.

It is — its an antiparasitic. Works by incasing membrane permeability on the parasite. So I suppose using the term antimicrobial is loose.

Surprised at these recommended dosages:

• Zinc 50 mg once a day for four days then repeated every 14 days
• Vitamin D3 [no dosage given] repeated every week (with blood levels monitored)
• Ivermectin 12 mg one dose then repeated every 14 days
• Doxycycline 100 mg once a day for four days then repeated every 14 days

Is this a prophylactic therapy to be continued indefinitely?

Why are zinc and D3 not administered daily? Seems strange to have zinc administered only every two weeks and D3 administered only weekly.

The blood concentration of Vitamins D is to be monitored on this protocol, so the best MIC is known for Vit D recommendations. Same for zinc — its just getting the level.

The half lives of a lot of these things is pretty long — so it doesnt really surprise me. I must admit prior to CoVID, I was not up on vitamins and recommended doses. So this protocol states one should have levels followed. This is a very data driven approach to this protocol

Ivermectin, zinc and doxy has been a treatment for new, strange diseases since the mid 90s. Was not a treatment prescribed by doctors but was developed and tried by sufferers in conjunction with college biology professors. Funny how the same treatment for covid and morgellons both diseases with no recognized treatment by cdc and nih.

With the long half-life and infrequent administration, you would have a sequence of exponential decays resulting in varying concentrations in the body. Wouldn’t it make more sense to reduce dosage, administer daily and maintain a more constant concentration in the body?
