A former Philadelphia police officer who was cleared of charges that he falsified records is suing to get his job back, saying officials were retaliating for his support of Black Lives Matter.
Bryan Turner, who is (b)lack, sued the city and the Philadelphia Police Department this week in federal court, claiming systematic discrimination against him. The lawsuit seeks monetary damages and reinstatement with back pay.
A spokesman for the mayor’s office said the city does not comment on open litigation. A spokesman for the police department declined a request for comment.
Turner, 31, was fired in 2018 and arrested on charges attempted theft by deception, unsworn falsifying, obstructing justice and official oppression related to the reports department officials alleged had been falsified. A Philadelphia judge cleared Turner of the charges after a five-day trial. …

it’s been this way for awhile. they have to commit how many crimes before they get serious time? then complain how “more black men are incarcerated ...blah blah”
Same with just any rules of conduct of politically correct stuff...they don’t have to comply. Can say and do anything they want then when FINALLY there is push back “This is racist”

The issue should resolve itself pretty quickly.

that’s what it’s turning into for sure- I was watching a show about an old police case back in the 70’s, and even back then- some black folks and minority folks felt like they were above the law and didn’t have to listen to the police- screaming ‘get your hands off me’ pulling away- and walking away- refusing to listen to orders- (Yes, white folks do this too- however, it much more prevalent and demonstrative in the black community- especially today- many just feel like they don’t have to listen to police at all) so this has all been brewing for quite some time- it’s just a lot worse now-
Things are getting very ugly these days, and liberals are encouraging this crap- and the minority folks are taking full advantage of it to the detriment of this country and law and order- Liberals ignore black crimes, while swooping in to arrest white folks for just defending themselves against some minority criminals-
