A new TikTok trend has emerged this week as former "Harry Potter" fans protest author J.K. Rowling's widely criticized views on trans people by burning copies of her books.
One video, posted by TikTok user @elmcdo shows a number of "Harry Potter" books being placed on a burning pyre.

Libraries are dinosaurs. Homeless shelters and safe havens for pedophiles. Quite sad.
Sad indeed. I spent many, many hours in public libraries over the years, but haven’t been in one for at least 10 years now.

If anyone looked at actual Twitter or TickTock numbers the numbers voicing ANY opinion are NEVER any majority anywhere, not even any majority of Twitter or TickTok subscribers. The only “majority” they ever, but not always, represent, is some “majority” of those expressing any opinion at all.
So now what counts for “democracy” is merely, “I got a bigger crowd together than you did” (on Twitter or TickTok) while the vast majority of who could have possibly joined any mob did not care enough to say anything.
How to self-correct this?
EVERYONE just quit using places like Twitter or TickTok as a “voting” platform for ANYTHING.
To all snowflakes and SJWs: Please feel free to buy large quantities of Rowling’s books and burn them.
The Publisher and the author thank you for the free publicity and for the sales. The Publisher will be happy to print more if they run out of editions to burn.
The author has already made her “Eff-You” money from the Harry Potter series but is happy get more royalties from these sales so that she can increase her net worth or, more likely, donate to her favorite charities.
