Scranton. The Office. Democrat Matt Cartwright won the seat by 9 in a district Trump won by 10. Jim Bognet (Republican) seems like a 'perfect fit'. Local. Family background in coal Polaks and non-college educated whites. National Republicans did not invest in the seat last time around-2 times. This is an area where you see Selena Zito articles written. Will we followup on Trump's endorsement?
Help grass roots efforts
I’m originally from NEPA and must say, when I was back home 2 weeks ago I could NOT BELIEVE the number of Trump signs/flags.
In traditionally HEAVY demorat towns there were just an overwhelming number of Trump stuff. I’d say, 4/5 to 1 Trump to Biden.
So, take that for whatever it’s worth. It may indicate a shift.
Hopefully Cartwright is toast!
In 2006 W. lost the party as well as the country. Democrat Pat Murphy filled the vacuum. He won a 2nd term in 2008 when McLame said he could ‘work across the aisle’. By the time 2010 came along the Obamacrats had showed their true colors and the GOP took the seat back. It can stay ours as long as there’s no Jeb-like people leading the party.

Trump should have a rally in Scranton, right in Biden’s pedophilic, sundowning, dementia-addled, politically corrupt face.
Cartright won’t get much help from Biden and there is no Democrat Senate seat up so that will help. McCarthy’s nationalization of the House races as Newt did will help a lot and Trump will find a way to help as well even if Wolf tries to lock him out of the state.
