What ever happened to the Brown Noise weapon?
Kirstjen Nielsen is wrong, the ADS system should be used.
Today until Election Day is supposed to be the Siege of the White House:

...Last month, the New York Times reported that U.S. border officials weighed deploying the so-called “heat ray” against migrants a few weeks before the 2018 elections. The Times reported that Kirstjen Nielsen, who was the secretary of homeland security at the time, told an aide after the meeting, according to the Times story, “that she would not authorize the use of such a device, and that it should never be brought up again in her presence.”...

Wow... Im glad Nielsen is gone and can do the Presidency no harm during the planned Soros/Obama Leftist siege of the White House that will commence later in September and continue into November.
‘protestors’
There’s still November 4 to look forward to.
Is this the fabled `crap cannon’ that El Rushbo talked about?
Maj. Adam DeMarco turned his phone off Monday night after news broke that he would be a star witness on Capitol Hill yesterday, accusing the U.S. Park Police of using excessive force to break up a crowd of protesters outside the White House on June 1. DeMarco, an Iraq War veteran who now serves as a major in the D.C. National Guard, testified under the Military Whistleblower Protection Act, telling a House panel that he could not sleep after witnessing the violence at Lafayette Square and knew then that he had to speak up. . .: Who is Adam DeMarco? Whistleblower seizes spotlight (07/29/2020)
National Guard officer Major Adam DeMarco has joined the Council on American Security's Board of Advisors. In appearing before Congress last week, Major DeMarco invoked the Military Whistleblower Protection Act, Title 10 U.S.C. § 1034 (MWPA), testifying that peaceful demonstrators were subjected to excessive force in Lafayette Square. "Our president tarnishes the reputation of the men and women who have served this nation for over 12 generations; he ignores the intelligence hard-earned by career patriots; he uses our military as political props for his campaign; and he weakens the very alliances that we have championed as leaders of the free world," DeMarco said upon joining the Council on American Security (CAMSEC).: Major Adam DeMarco Joins the Council on American Security
He's no whistleblower: he's a John Kerry wannabe who should be court-martialed.
Would that be the ignited, jellied gasoline “heat ray” as used against the Japanese on Iwo Jima in 1945?
It was sweeping round swiftly and steadily, this flaming death, this invisible, inevitable sword of heat. I perceived it coming towards me by the flashing bushes it touched, and was too astounded and stupefied to stir. I heard the crackle of fire in the sand pits and the sudden squeal of a horse that was as suddenly stilled. Then it was as if an invisible yet intensely heated finger were drawn through the heather between me and the Martians, and all along a curving line beyond the sand pits the dark ground smoked and crackled. Something fell with a crash far away to the left where the road from Woking station opens out on the common. Forthwith the hissing and humming ceased, and the black, domelike object sank slowly out of sight into the pit.

Regards,
Both systems are excellent and should be deployed at the White House.

How about good old fashioned "Hot Lead"?
The surface temperature of a target will continue to rise so long as the beam is applied, at a rate dictated by the target's material and distance from the transmitter, along with the beam's frequency and power level set by the operator. Most human test subjects reached their pain threshold within 3 seconds, and none could endure more than 5 seconds.
Worst case - the operator(s) leave it on a subject too long at too high of a power and the subject can develop 1st degree burns, possibly even 2nd degree burns (minor blistering). These are just surface burns, not deep tissue trauma.
Why aren't we using these already?
It is as non-lethal as getting hit by a blast of heat from opening a hot oven. It has questionable value unless the “ray” (microwaves) hits bare skin. Has not yet been used anywhere for a number of reasons. They sent some working versions, mounted on a tank like vehicle, to Afghanistan but they were not used.
Is it now a crime for the police to seak non-lethal options for crowd control?
Another nod to “Left Behind”...
