Kerri Walsh Jennings’ mask apology turns into plea for ‘freedom’...

Kerri Walsh Jennings is backing down on advocating against face masks. Well, sort of.

The South Bay native waved a white flag in an Instagram post Monday after her prior post depicting her experience shopping without a mask went viral, with many criticizing her choice to go against epidemiological recommendations and government mandates.

In her latest lengthy post, Walsh Jennings apologized to those who she “upset so deeply”, thanked those who supported her, then began a defensive rant explaining why she decided to shirk rules intended to protect her and others from the coronavirus.

“We should all carry on RESPECTFULLY living our virtues, standing up for our beliefs and doing our best to do no harm in doing so,” she wrote.

“I was not looking to do anything but express my belief that FREEDOM IS A RIGHT WORTH FIGHTING FOR, and amidst the chaos, divisiveness, fear and undeniable emotion of these times, I believe we have to stay mindful of the FACT that our freedoms have slowly been taken from us with our consent.”

Kerri is an excellent beach volleyball player...

She also expressed concern about mandatory vaccination...

Like many of us, she is skeptical of being forced to wear a mask...

“against epidemiological recommendations”

What a joke. The mask thing is a farce. I just went on a 1500 mile trip through Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan upper peninsula. People not wearing masks were the least of my worries when I noticed how much touching of shared objects happened. It was everywhere, and very few paid any attention to it. Pens, card readers, purchased objects, receipts gas pump handles, etc. One restaurant had a sign in sheet with a pen everyone used. Hands are a transmission pathway that’s probably more serious than breathing. Especially when people touch shared objects, then touch their mask. Anyone who has been trained to wear masks as PPE, especially medical PPE, knows how bad general covid mask hygiene is. It’s so bad I seriously wonder if the mask mandates made covid cases worse. Covid cases surged in spite of mask mandates, the poor mask hygiene you see everywhere is probably why. In my opinion staying home when youare sick is #1, distancing is #2, keeping hands clean is #3 and masks are a distant #4. And only if masking is done correctly, which is;
put on clean gloves,
put on mask,
do your thing without touching mask,
take off mask and throw in garbage,
take off gloves and throw in garbage.
Repeat for every mask usage.
Clearly people aren’t doing that, which is why people wearing masks are getting and giving covid anyway.

Screw masks. Except for protection from smoke inhalation , or if you work in a hospital

Double screw vaccines. They don’t work and do much more harm than good ( with rare exceptions like ancient viruses like polio and small pox )

Kerri Walsh and Misty May were such a joy to watch for 3 or 4 straight Olympics.
Just plain dominant.

Hell yeah! I posted a few weeks ago about our grandson’s wedding and how we thought for a minute about not going since we’re both elderly and high risk.....well, we went after deciding that death was a price we’re willing to pay to see our only grandson get married and we would wear our masks......well we got there and there wasn’t a mask in sight except for the caterers and the photographer and the wedding planner. There were about 200 unmasked guests and Hub said we’re not wearing them. We didn’t, we’re still here and not one person got sick and that was 2 months ago. I’m fed up with this crap!!

I’ve read that tomorrow (9/15) is being promoted as Unmask America Day ... anything new on this?

Did somebody say women's beach volleyball?...

Stand, lay down, kneel, sit Indian style and howl at the moon, I don't care. I will make the time to watch women's beach volleyball. Have I said how much I love women's beach volleyball lately?....

I don’t know about the Unmask America Day tomorrow but what I believe is going to happen tomorrow is “Israel-UAE Peace Agreement To Be Signed At White House On September 15”

“For you yourselves know perfectly that
The Day of the Lord (the coming “Apocalypse” … the “7th Day”)
so comes as a thief in the night.
For when they say, “Peace and safety!”
then sudden destruction comes upon them”
(1 Thessalonians 5:2-3)

(Joel 3:1-2) “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land,

If this vision comes to pass, we are in big trouble

Liberty.

Not mere freedom.

Liberty.

I’m tired of people apologizing for doing the right thing, or for exercising their rights. Screw it. Stand up to these totalitarians.
