Oh, both of you guys’ beast sounds excellent! Mmmmm!!! We’re having hamburgers on the Big Green Egg. Keith makes the BEST smoked burgers. And I’ll cut up some potatoes and put them in the Fry Daddy for french fries.

LOL I just came in earlier after I covered The Meat Machine back up before Sally sneaks through the alley, and sprayed for weeds. I've got a half dozen 24" pots going with baby yellow squash out there, but all they're doing is flowering. The patio corn is finally growing some ears. Yay me. The tomatoes are about kaput but there are a few more bell peppers straggling along. I just sliced up and froze another quart of red and green peppers around 4 PM. I see chili and spaghetti sauce in their future. LOL I sent my buddy in WV a pic of that drunk hunk o' pork in the pot, and he countered with a 16 oz. rib eye he dry-brined on a rack for 24 hours, then peppered it and patted a coffee ground rub on both sides and pan-seared it in a cast iron skillet. He air-fried some baby Yukon Gold taters and sliced onions on the side. Last night he baked a big rhubarb pie with a homemade crust. That's tonight's dessert. And now The Queen is reminding me that she wants vanilla ice cream for her dessert tonight. Be back in a bit. I need beer, anyway.
