If the generals move to take Trump and Pence forcibly out of the White House I cannot imagine them doing it without killing both in order to forestall the possibility that Trump and Pence could make a comeback or turn out to have insuperable support in the people. It would be followed at least for a short time by military rule and massive abrogation of the 1st and 2nd Amendments.
There is no Constitutional or legal role in political disputes.
The Secret Service protects the legally recognized president. An outgoing president physically interfering with the incoming one is a SS responsibility.
Any such action by the military would indeed be a coup.

It would be Open Season on anything and everything in a military uniform. Not good.
Abrogation of the 2nd Amendment will cost the coup plotters heavy casualties. Insurrection and mutiny in the ranks will follow. And are they really planning to disobey Posse Comitatus?
