I may be mistaken, but Congress passed a law during the Nixon years that if the President is wrongly impeached, he is owed 2 additional years. This law has never been challenged by SCOTUS.

I believe if Trump wins, he has a legitimate case to make to serve an additional six-year term (which is what the Presidency should be anyway).

But how does that law stay valid in light of the constitutional amendment limiting to two terms.

It would have been passed by Democrats. They had huge majorities under Nixon, which is how they ram him out.
