This is the awkward moment a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire contestant was left surprised after a man answered his wife's phone.
During Thursday night's episode, player JP Hogan took to the hot seat in a bid to win big - and all seemed to be going in his favour after a strong start.
However, the scaffolder-turned-teacher ended up getting stuck at the £8,000 question when asked by host Jeremy Clarkson: "Which of these days is part of the weekend in Germany?"
The four possible answers to chose from included Donnerstag, Mittwoch, Sonntag or Dienstag.
After admitting his uncertainty on which option is the correct one, JP decided to use one of his lifelines and phone a friend - his wife Elizabeth.
But when a male voice was heard answering the call instead of Elizabeth's, both Jeremy and JP were left looking pretty confused.
"Sorry there was no service," the man's voice said while on the line.
JP continued to appear taken aback by what had just happened and looked around, while Jeremy couldn't help but crack a joke at what had just taken place.
"A man just answered her phone," Jeremy joked, before adding: "Relax, it could be completely innocent."
After a brief moment, JP started to laugh at Jeremy's joke and despite the awkward phone call, went on to win £64,000.
Many viewers who were watching the show from home, took to social media to react.
"So who's the dude that answered his wife's phone." One viewer tweeted.
Another added: "His face when Jeremy said another man answered your phone."
A third asked: "Did another man just answer the phone?", in response a fourth joked: "We need #judgerinder to settle this"
It came the night before Friday's (Sept 11) installment, which saw one lucky player win the £1 million jackpot.
Donald Fear, from Telford, Shropshire, answered all 15 questions correctly to scoop the ultimate prize - becoming the sixth contestant in 14 years to win the top prize.
Oh no I’m sorry the correct answer is who gives a ****?
The correct answer is Staten Island.
Lol
Rofl!!
How much of the £64,000 does the guy who answered the phone get?

"Hey Moose, Rocco, help dp0622 give a $hit."
Lol
I was thinking about that movie The other day. Hysterical
I’ll be damned, I guessed it!
I don’t think any of the answers are right. My calendar shows Sonntag at the beginning of the week, not the end. Samstag is the weekend.
Sonntag (German for Sunday) is the correct answer. I learned that in the first semester of high school German sixty years ago. If the guy had called me instead of his wife, he would be a millionaire today.
The beginning of the week is one end of the week. The last day in the week is the other end.
How much of the £64,000 does the divorce lawyer get?
Actually, the question should be....How much of the £64,000 will the soon to be Ex-Wife get?
Oh man, is my face red!

Reminds me of the Pink Floyd song from “The Wall” album. I don’t recall exactly how they did it, but that is the actual telephone operator speaking.
“They keep hanging up....”
This tiny mistake is a nothingburger!
Is it... a small boys Sunday trousers?
