I told my doctor I had COVID in March.
She asked me if I was tested and I said, “No. If I have the flu, I don’t run down to county health and get tested to verify something I already know.”
She nodded and asked, “Would you like t be tested for antibodies?”
I asked, “Will it be reported to county health as a COVID case?”
She said, “Yes.”
Hopefully after Nov 3 things will loosen up - on CoVid-19 - since it can no longer be used as a campaign weapon. As you say, my Dr. couldn't help; I suppose the labs have to report - although Quest Labs got in trouble here in Florida for not reporting for months, or not reporting 'negatives', whatever.
