USA cases and deaths are dropping quickly. The announcement from Trump will come - he will declare the epidemic over because the death rate is below the CDC minimum level to be called an epidemic. See the link above - approximately 7.7% of deaths need to be from CV to call it an epidemic in the USA. That is about 4000 weekly deaths and we are almost under that level. The left will lose it when he announces this and say that he is killing people. But the majority in the USA who want this lockdown to end will be ecstatic. And Fauci has to protect Trump’s back for this announcement because it is his department who came up with this threshold.

Today I drove by a barn. It was bigger and redder than many barns. It looked bigger than it actually was because I was only allowed to look at it through magnified glasses, and it looked redder than it was because I had those color intensifying lenses. All the news media where the farmer advertised were talking about how big a barn it was, so everybody thought it was the biggest barn that ever was - a different KIND of barn - MAYBE not EVEN a barn. And it was big, relatively, and I mean, yeah, it was a deepish red as barns go.
And yet, it was still ... just a barn, Brozak.

Speaking for medical personnel everywhere, it really doesn’t hurt our feeling too much when you don’t want one interact with us. One less arm chair expert spouting the latest bull crap from Dr Google with the ability to tie up our lives and our businesses with idiot ambulance chasers. It’s really quite ok with us. All of us. And yes I polled all the doctors in America before responding.

That is the hardest dilemma for me personally. As my colleague MOMMD says I pray. I have asked my pastor his thoughts. Sometimes being intelligent can become a problem. Smart people tend to overthink a thing.
Its not at all complicated.
A.) Killing babies is wrong.
B.) Nothing good can come out of such an abomination.
C.) Justifying killing babies results in more killing of babies.

Oh, there’s truly an obvious reason, it is called “mental illness.”
I just try to always cut through the bullshit and break things down into their simplest form. I do tend to overthink too, and that always causes problems. I may tend to find myself lost in the weeds.
Growing up, I went back and forth on abortion. Until one day I realized this simple fact. Killing babies is wrong.
As simple as that.
Unless the sources I follow are wrong, one reason that the Pharma companies are OK with rush development for the CV vaccines is that by contract with the US government and by a 2005 US law they are shielded from tort liability if problems appear with the vaccines downstream. For drug development and testing they don’t have the same protections from the US taxpayer.
