The show’s creator has supposedly signed a deal with Netflix for a sequel series to take place about 200 years after “Vikings” so roughly around the time of the Battle of Hastings and the Norman conquest of England.

What. I just pulled my copy off the shelf. Now his conversation with his mother about his record makes no sense:

Whoopi Goldberg is a step down. The Mother Abigail of the original TV series, Ruby Dee, was a fine actress and, although a Lefty with strong civil rights credentials, she was unlike Whoopi in being responsible and measured in her public statements and conduct.

Agree. We are purging our household of things we do not need. The Stand is the only King book we will keep. And I thought the Sinese mini-series version was really good.
