It's Not Just 'Cuties:' Netflix's Big Pedo Problem

Last week, Netflix received public backlash for its planned premiere of the French film Cuties. The promotional poster for the film showed underage girls posing seductively in risqué outfits.

Netflix has had a problem with pedophiliac programming for years. Back in 2018, Netflix premiered an Argentinian film called Desire that included a scene of child pornography involving girls under the age of 10. At the time, the news site PJ Media reported the film to the FBI and Department of Justice. The film included a depiction of a child masturbating.

It's good that people are speaking out on this, and such a film should never be tolerated.

However, I'm simply not going to watch it, or the other sexually gratuitous programming on Netflix.

If you don't watch a particular program or the crap produced by Obama, Netflix uses an algorithm that determines who is watch what shows. It's sort of like their in-house Nielsen ratings.

All you have to do is simply not watch that show. Now, if you want to cancel, that's fine. But I enjoy my Netflix. There are tons of quality shows and documentaries that puts basic television and even cable itself to shame.

They won’t pull it. It’s Joe Biden’s favorite film.

Nope. All jokes aside, Netflix appears to have dug in on this one.

Amazing logic. So if evil has a few good things around the edges, it's okay to support evil - even fund it financially!

Amazing logic.

No, I'm making an entertainment choice as a consumer.

So if evil has a few good things around the edges

Then dump your ISP, your computer, and read Horatio Alger novels by candlelight. Because by definition, child porn is trafficked on the Internet and the Internet companies are still owned by libs. So by you paying for internet service you are paying for both child and regular porn to proliferate.

it's okay to support evil - even fund it financially!

If you don't watch it, Netflix doesn't get viewership from that show and will cancel it. I don't have a problem with people speaking out on this.

Unfortunately, enough crummy people WILL watch it to keep it going.

Yes, and that choice is to fund this kind of garbage.

Then dump your ISP, your computer, and read Horatio Alger novels by candlelight. Because by definition, child porn is trafficked on the Internet and the Internet companies are still owned by libs. So by you paying for internet service you are paying for both child and regular porn to proliferate.

That's a completely ridiculous comparison, since my ISP is not producing those things like Netflix is and I am not funding those things by subscribing to an ISP - subscribers to Netflix, however, do directly fund them.

If you don't watch it, Netflix doesn't get viewership from that show and will cancel it. I don't have a problem with people speaking out on this.

Sort of like the argument for continuing to fund Planned Parenthood - because they do more than just kill children.

It is frustrating to watch Apple TV and Amazon Video fill time and “add emotion” with repeated sex scenes in an episode, too.
