There was a stock analyst with Cantor Fitzgerald named Bill Meehan back in 2001. Kind of a celebrity among investors because he was on tv a lot. He used to show up on a stock board that I belonged to and post with us. A nice guy, we enjoyed it, he was a pro hanging out with the Joes.
Anyway he was in the North Tower which was hit first. Cantor Fitgerald offices were on floors above the plane strike, they lost 658 people.

If the millions of dead trees are dead from emerald ash borer, fungus, virus, or a hundred other beetles from Asia, it'll spread and become an extreme fire hazard, like the Left Coast now has. So will not undercutting brush, periodically, to clean out kindling. This pic is a tiny fraction of the western US dead forest tracts.

On the menu at the top, you will see several terms, including “pings”. When it turns red, it means that someone has called your attention to something. It could be to check out a post and its thread of comments, or they are responding to something you wrote.
A ping list is when several people are being notified of a post. Like these people who want to know when a thread is starting about Tucker Carlson’s show.
If you see the ping turn red, click on it, and it will take you to what you are being notified of.
That is my simple understanding.
