I tried. I love sports. I love football. I figured there would be virtue signalling. The slogans. The George Floyd tee shirts on the anthem singers. The commercials. On and on. Finally, I thought they were going to play a game and then Chris Collingworth started to get on his soapbox....
That was it. Enough already. I turned it off. I don't care anymore...

But when they insisted that I see Janet Jackson’s boob....I put a halt to it.
The only professional sports I even lightly care about involves shooting.

NFL starts with a grand production of the so-called black national anthem and later presented a sub-par boring no-frills National Anthem with the Houston team staying in the locker room. Goodbye NFL! I’m done.

I have Dish primetime which is recording the game. I am not going to watch it, but I wonder if it counts as a view with TV ratings? As far as I know there is no way to stop it with out turning off all the primetime feature.
I guess I thought I could flip past the PC virtue signalling. NBC, at least, was not going to allow that to happen.
Yeah, the Nascar noose was it for me. Just dont do ANY sports any more.
Good for you. I deactivated my Facebook today. I haven’t watched an NBA game. I’m not watching the NFL.

I have been a hockey fan for 65 years. Love the Rangers. Was very much looking forward to these playoffs. Then they decided not to play. I have not watched another game. The only sport left for me to watch is tennis and they are now on very shaky ground with me.
That was weeks ago.
Sports caught a virus in March 2020 and then it turned terminal
You just added to the ratings and told the advertisers that you were happy to watch the fiasco.
I pay attention to the players. Not the owners and league officials.
I hate to be harsh but you knew this was the case and you tuned in increasing their ratings. I’m completely fed up with supporting crap thays used against us. Once again my apologies in advance..
