Biden said he to reengage in Syria. I have no idea as to why. IMHO we have no business in Syria. I guess he still wants to topple Assad.

He is the only president who called this out since President Eisenhower. It has been a long, long time. We have had a puppet government since the days of Eisenhower or even before.
These memes go back to World War I. World War I was supposed to “be the war that ends all wars” and “It was going to make the world safe for democracy”
We have been under the spell of these slick slogans since that time. Funny how slogans can take over people’s minds.
It’s why the upper echelon of the military keep saying such vile things about Trump.
The hypocrisy is stunning. They want to take out Assad because he is a ‘bad guy’ but we have been doing business with China for decades when they are probably the world’s worst abusers of human rights! They are imprisoning the Uigur people by the millions. They persecute Christians, Falon Dong religion. They are taking over Tibet. They imprison people who express their views. Prisoners are killed and their organs are sold on the market. There is a shortage of women in China because of the one child policy which resulted in wide spread abortion of girl babies. They are a huge nation of more than one billion which is a much bigger threat than Syria will ever be.

Yea, but “ they”, are being paid off by China. We got the best Pols money can buy, or something like that. The other thing is, they probably want Assad out the way to run an oil pipeline.
