This is ironic. Sharpton is a race-hustler and opportunist who always swoops in at the drop of his own hat to declare some incident was “racist” and he lines is own pocket.
However, BLM has stolen his thunder and his plunder.
Sharpton also knows his constituency and is likely sensing that there is not overwhelming condemnation of the police in the inner-cities that are now exploding with gang violence. In other words, Sharpton is indirectly admitting what many of us have recognized from the beginning (Ferguson Effect) - the “cure” is far worse than the problem.
Sharpton is not opposed to shakedowns with threats of violence.
What’s different now is that President Trump is breaking the vicious cycle of extortion in Democrat cities. The Democrats have NO MORE MONEY to rebuild their burned down cities, businesses are leaving for good, the New York well-to-do are moving to the Hamptons.
The Democrats are in a funk. And it’s a glorious triumph of Trump and Republicans sticking to their guns and not giving in.
Make America Great Again is right around the corner. We can absolutely crush the Democrats and it will be glorious.
But I suspect we will still see more blood in the streets till the Democrats and their mobs are utterly crushed.
