I think we can use tribe, I may use it more if people tell me not to.
But as the poster I responded to the people he was talking about all belong to a certain specific tribe.
I also don’t intend to be silent about that particular tribe if there is a reason to bring them up but his implication that there was some genetic reason for the tribal connection would be wrong no matter what tribe was being discussed.
Many people confuse tribal genetics with tribal culture, and as LJ was so adamant in pointing out many people confuse subcultures with an entire tribe that doesn’t have that culture.
