It’s the same up here in the East Bay.
Our son rang us up on Facetime from Emeryville this morning to show us the orange skies. Fortunately the cool ocean air is keeping the orange crap aloft, so the air quality isn’t too bad.

They say the air quality is fine but the ash was falling and blowing like light snow this morning when I was driving.
I went for a run last night and I could really feel my lungs working harder than normal too.

I wonder what the ambient oxygen content is around large fires.
I bet the O2 is sucked up by those fires.
