Many people – essayists, writers, and commenters – have questioned why it is that American Jews are not just staunch Democrats, but have overwhelmingly remained so in light of the clear cynical calculation that Democrats are making with regard to currying favor with Muslims over Jews in this country; e.g., my latest essay on that: Attention American Jews: Sit at the table or be on the menu (CARTOON).
For example,, comedian and 9-12 patriot Evan Sayet wrote an excellent essay back in 2011; Why Jews Support the Democratic Party (bolding added):
To be called a Jew, all you have to do is plop out of a Jewish womb. Because these Jews – I’ll call them here “The Plopping Jews” – do not believe anything particularly Jewish. Indeed, there’s absolutely no reason to expect them to vote in a way that reflects Jewish values and beliefs. Since a Jewish person’s Judaism is not of his own choosing or a reflection of his beliefs, his Jewishness is nothing more than an accident of his birth. Therefore, to expect him to choose to support Jewish causes is actually a form of bigotry. People’s behaviors are predicated on their beliefs, not on the circumstances of their birth............

Supporting Democrats guarantees that the US will never be completely orderly.

I think an important part of Jewish political history is related to a communal (or community) sentiment that runs through much of Jewish culture.
Much of that same sentiment also runs through Christian culture, but it is balanced by the Christian belief (within obvious limits) that each person is ultimately responsible for his or her own life.
Politically - communal equals Left - individual equals Right.
There’s a lot of sociological self- hatred ( inculcated from the larger societies their ancestors found themselves in). This is referred to as JSS ( Jewish Suicide syndrome). It’s a tragic, awful consequence that’s frankly finishing the Nazi program
It’s like many of my favorite Biblical teachers are saying. The Israel of today is secular, not religious, in spite of the orthodox and the rabid orthodox who say I Israel doesn’t belong in the land. They no longer KNOW the Torah, nor its teachings. They have no idea what God’s promises to Israel were (and continue to be) and that they were not breakable, only could be if someone could number the sands of the seas. Because they do not know their own ethnical history, nor do they care, they are willing to support the “beast” bc they are not aware of the consequences to their own lives and the judgment that God has waiting for them, in particular. God has allowed the world to dominate them due to their sin. continued sin and unbelief...rejection of their Messiah. however, He is returning to save a remnant of them, of which only He knows who they will be, and the rest will be massacred, for the most part by antichrist. Israel has constantly changed one idol for another. However, we must not be too hard on them, as we make idols out of people, politicians, pastors, etc. They need our fervent prayer. Pray for their eyes to be opened, the shackles removed.
