If masks are to be mandated by law, then there must be standards.

What are the design specifications for compliant masks?

Who enforces the law?

What are the penalties?

Who will conduct the prosecutions?

Is guilt assigned without due process?

:: mandated by law ::

In a republican form of government, a “legal mandate” is decided by a Legislature and passed to the Executive to uphold.
We are operating under a tyranny of vindictive egotists that make requirements by whim and fiat.
Sadly, a large portion of our society goes along because they perceive the egotists to be their betters...the experts.

Add...

Where are the proper disposal bins?

What happens to the masks that just end up in the landfill?

This is what we should PUSH...

It will die on the vine like the asbestos clean up fiasco...when it started to cost more to tear down a 2 story house with a dirt floor basement because of ‘asbestos’ than it did to build the 5 story high rise to replace it, saner minds took over and the Schiff came to a halt.

Both my parents were RNs and I was raised in the 40s/50s, at the tail end of the TB and beginning of Polio.

Since both worked in sanitariums I would imagine I had more than my share of ‘exposure’ to both.

According to the original ‘guidelines’ for the beerflu, I am DEAD. I still do the same routine as before, this 6 foot distancing is great as I mostly practiced it before anyway and though I do have a VERY legitimate excuse to NOT wear one, I seriously doubt I would have fallen in line either.

Yes, the flu was here before, I would imagine ALL the asbestos isn’t gone and life goes on.

Like the old chestnut about guy going to Dr and being told to cut down on his bacon and egg inpug.

Guy told the Doc about his grandfather and his 4 egg 1/2 pound of bacon every day of his life and he lived to be 104.

DR: “Well, maybe so BUT that was before we knew about cholesterols”
