The President is right. That's the ONLY way you can confirm it.

What they can't confirm is if you voted twice (somehow) via an insider. You need a time stamped sequential numbered printout after you vote.

Absentee ballots are NOT secret ballots. Or are they??

Not in every state. For example, apparently doing that in Maryland causes both ballots to be rejected. That is a ridiculous law, but that's what the Maryland government has said.
