COMPUTER SLIDE AND MASK REPORT:
Thanks to everyone who responded with help regarding computers-I learned a lot from your posts.
So I contacted Walmart, and the electronics guy told me it was most likely the cord. To do an exchange-Walmart policy is you have to bring the whole shebang back(I kinda knew this).
He suggested that I buy a cord to see if that was it. If so, I could contact the manufacturer and get a credit refund of some sort. So that’s what I did. And Yah-that fixed it.
So while there, I picked up speakers-which use a USB port so that’s all taken care of and I returned the borrowed speakers.
New computer is working great now. So I am set for a while.
We did not wear masks when we went to Walmart. The Employee station at the entrance did not even bother to say anything-there is a sign posted of course, but who reads these days? LOL.
Well anyway almost no one except employees had a mask. One employee had a nice clear face shield-big improvement cause you can see his smile and lips move when he talked.
I smiled and waved at the employees on the way in and out, and they waved back. Ha.
Ah nice - a mask free experience!
I think the governor is going to open things up here. They’ve said they’re going announce something this week. My hope is they’re going to open things but but are waiting until the holiday weekend is over to avoid a huge outpouring of pent up togetherness. That’s my hope any way. This is Texas. Thats my hope any way. For all I know he could come out and announce a new set of lock downs.
