Michael Poland says nasty things are not imminent at the supervolcanoe.

Unless there’s some way we could focus it on DC and Chicago. You might want to buy a sense of humor next time you go to Walmart, Target burned down.

Just visited Yellowstone two weeks ago. Sure, there was a lot of recent tree die-off near the hot spots and yes some of the fallen dead trees were slowly turning to charcoal and okay there was a lot of new activity at Norris Basin, but hey that stuff happens all the time.
Seriously, no one knows when the next eruption will occur and there will probably be at least two weeks warning. So say most of the Geologists.

So you wouldnt mind tens of millions killed by a super eruption and the aftermath devastation> There wouldnt be much we could do about it!
Minorities and women would be affected the most.

Considering the way the World is right now? I would consider it Judgement from an angry Deity.

Why wasn't this placed in breaking news? Oh, the March 26th thing, I see. Then why now?

A friend of mine right out of college worked with a guy placing seismic sensors all around Yellowstone. A horse and two pack mules and setting them up in areas with increased activity.
He’s going to be 74 this year.

Mysterious? It’s a damn volcanic caldera and somehow it’s mysterious when there’s activity below? Do we really pay these Einstein’s that call themselves scientists? Should just pay them in beads and shiny trinkets. They wouldn’t know the difference.
