Yes. We’re located about 2.5 degrees below the equator. I have been losing the fight not to be resentful about being away from the tropics during the winter. I have to dig out my winter clothes and I’m not sure where they are! I gave away some and put other stuff in long-term storage. I’m totally unprepared for cold weather. I better get ready, though, because here I am.
So you had year round warmth! Yeah, better find some winter clothing. When we first moved here, I went to a thrift store and found many beautiful thick sweaters. I bought them all and figured I was ready for a real winter. Except I found out I couldn’t wear them anywhere. Anytime I got in a car or house I was too hot.
