2) He blamed the violence and economic downturn on Trump, even though it was a combination of the China flu and Democratic unwillingness to allow in the National Guard.
3) Implied that if he were president instead of sending in the National Guard he would have sent in secret police like he and Obama had done during their administration in order to stop the violence without anyone knowing what happened. Maybe he was referring to what happened with the Bundy's in Nevada and later in Oregon where the secret police killed an innocent man.
4) Pretended to quote John Paul II to get the Catholic vote
5) Screwed up his lines every time he went off script. Slurred or mispronounced a number of words, e.g. Mike Prence.
6) Claimed that no one should be demonized and we should all work together right after demonizing Trump and marginalizing his "right-wing militia followers".
In general it was like his acceptance speech. He did much better than one would have expected given his recent basement blunderings. However, like a typical Democrat, he either outright lied or twisted the truth so much that it squeezed everything out of it.
Joe can still read a teleprompter that much is clear. What he cannot handle is an actual press conference or even a real interview with unknown questions.
good synopsis, bear. Thanks. Could bear to hear the whole rambling, lying.speech.
