Didn’t he do the same thing last year? September is generally National Preparedness Month, IIRC.
So I have learned.
Not living in an area that is prone to need preparedness for natural disasters (like hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, etc, I guess it never made it onto my radar.
It would actually make more sense for it to be in say, about March. That would be just before tornado season in the mid west and the beginning of hurricane season in June.
Since Sept is usually peak hurricane month, it seems a little after the fact to tell people to be prepared when you are at a time of needed peak preparedness.
