The NHL paused their playoff schedule for 2 days, thinking this will boost their support among blacks.
It will do nothing of the kind, most blacks didn’t watch hockey before and this will do nothing to change that.
Empty & useless actions that only ticked off the regular hockey fans. Way to go, NHL!!
Thank God the Flyers took down the statue of Kate Smith. What hell would have been unleashed if they had not. I wonder where they stashed it? where ever it is probably doing great harm to those who gaze upon it.

I watched parts of a few games yesterday. I couldnt believe all the hockey-based ads (like credit cards with team logos, etc) featured almost exclusively blacks and Asians. I’ve been to lots of hockey games and this is not what the fan base looks like.
So sick of pandering.
It doesn't even make sense, who do they think that are hurting, and what do they think the results of this action will accomplish.Are they saying that their fans in the US are racist, all fans maybe?
I grew playing hockey and really enjoy the sport, but they are making it very hard to justify spending any money to support them, It's an expensive sport to play and going to an NHL game isn't cheap either, too bad they disrespect their fans and are going out of their way to prove it.
