I was a Stars season ticket holder for many years, since 2000. I fell in love with hockey back in the early 80s when we had the Dallas Blackhawks. I was thrilled when we got the Stars. They will always be my team, but I will not buy tickets any longer. As a minority female, I find their support of BLM to be offensive. Makes me sad because I love the sport and going to the games.
I want to see them try to kneel before a rodeo..
;^D
That sounds like something I could have written!
I was a Dallas Blackhawks fan in the ‘60s, when they played at the State Fair Arena. The Central Hockey League was comprised of farm clubs one level below their NHL teams, so players from the NHL were often sent down to the CHL when rehabbing and CHL players elevated upwards. Got to see many NHL stars. Was taking my daughter, 4-5y/o, to the games leaving wife at home.
The FW Wings - Stars games were a “must” attend, whether in D or FW. Very bitter rivalry with multiple fights each game.
The Modano years were great. ...Recent rules have tamed the games so much that they look like practices. I haven’t watched a game for about 3 years. Sad
