President Donald Trump appeared to narrowly avoid falling over as he walked up to the podium at a campaign rally in New Hampshire on Friday evening.
Video shows Trump flailing his arms while steadying himself a few feet from the lectern after disembarking from Air Force One.
"Looks like he almost tripped," Liz Willis, a Right Side Broadcasting network announcer, remarked during a livestream of the event. "I'm sure he will make a joke out of that one in just a moment."
Trump's rally in New Hampshire is his first campaign event since accepting the Republican Party nomination for a second term at the party's national convention in Charlotte, North Carolina earlier this week.
The campaign event was held at the PeriCohas Hangar and attendees were closely packed together without any apparent social distancing as they watched Trump speak.
The president has previously held campaign events without strict social distancing, including at an indoor rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in June, which health officials said "more than likely contributed" to the county's spike in COVID-19 cases.
Trump mentioned the deck they build was like ice, plus I'm sure the soles of his shoes were new leather. I'm 54 and in great shape. I'be slipped with new dress shoes before.

What I'm suprised at is the author didn't try to tie to his age or cognative capability like they did with the glass of water Trump lifted with both hands.
I lothe these people.
I wondered why he mentioned that the floors were very slippery.
The author forgot to mention that Trump made reference to the ramp and that it had an Icey Surface.
It looks like he might have lost his balance for a moment. Might. It did not look like he was anywhere close to falling. If they want to go with this, they are welcome to. It’s a loser.

That one is is good for perennial laughs
I tripped going up a few steps to receive my high school diploma. I was a 17 year-old varsity athlete (and very sober). As an adult I had a few falls while wearing leather soles including twice going down carpeted stairs. What a non story.
Screw that rag. Disabled my ad~blocker and still no joy so they can suck it.
Get some Red Wings with ANSI-rated nonslip soles.
